About Mirante
Mirante is a community map for reporting environmental problems, and a shared record of what's actually happening on the ground.
Pollution, illegal dumping, fires, dying rivers, animals turning up where they shouldn't: easy to notice, easy to forget. Mirante lets anyone put what they saw on the map in seconds. Once it's there, the problem is visible, it's on the record, and it's harder to ignore.
Anyone can report, no account required. A moderator checks every submission before it goes public, so the map stays full of real reports instead of noise.
What we care about
- Open. Reports are public, so neighbours and decision-makers see the same picture.
- Quick. Reporting takes seconds and needs no sign-up.
- Checked. A real person reviews every report, so there's no spam.
